The Empire of Burgdalin

An empire covering a large amount of territory in Falyimoar. The empire consists of The Kingdom of Galmoer, The Kingdom of Phantonis, and The Theocracy of Rachelis. The former Kingdom of Burgdalin grew into this empire under the control of King Chuck Delair Falymos, The Last King of Burgdalin. Over a span of his 60 year this king managed to unify several kingdoms under his banner, crumbling several governments in his conquest.

This grand unification brought about a widespread revolution in the arcane by bringing many mages from all across the land to Eagris, leading to a standardization of the arcane arts and an increased interest in its uses. As the populations of mages in Eagris grew Emperor Chuck saw the opportunity to cultivate a generation of mages who would be loyal to the empire and support its people and military, thus he created The Grand Institute for Mystical Arts, allowing any proficient in spellcasting to come and study the arcane arts, so long as they swore upon a blood pact that they would serve the empire, or forfeit all of their arcane power. (this is in essence a patron - warlock kind of pact).

The first conductor, Rawn Cuebey controls a great many beasts which seem to manifest themselves upon his command, disappearing once again when be so pleases. The second conductor, Jet Rokhe, displays immense control over his environment, creating mesmerizing visuals that create a feeling as though you are amongst the stars, a mere speck of stardust floating through an expansive void, with the only object to affix your gaze upon being the performers. The third conductor, Drack Yogins, is a master of the acrobatic arts, leading his own troupe of acrobats to perform a multitude of routines one after the other.

This troupe seems to appear spontaneously, and would always stay in town for 6 days, suddenly disappearing along side many children from the town they were visiting, though these children were usually uncared for or lived in an orphanage, and would go unmissed by the townsfolk. The Circus would accept anyone who wished to join them, so long as they were willing learn to do labor for them until they found a permanent role in the circus. Many of those who join are street urchins and those looking to escape their circumstances

The Muffin Man

In The Kingdom of Thaed there is an urban legend, spun from a serial killer that would prey on children. This man ran a local bakery on the city of Mulbury, by all accounts he was a trust worthy member of the community, who would often give away the days extra pastries to the children of the city, when their was only one child left in his shop he would feign that he had ran out of pastries to give them, and would tell them they could come wait in the back of his shop and that he would bake them a some fresh muffins to give them since they missed out.

Most of the time he would do just as he said, he would make them a few fresh muffins and send them on their way. However on moonless nights he would walk the child to their home, asking them about their room as they walked. After departing he would walk around, before returning to the child's home, breaking into their room and snatching them from their bed. He was eventually caught after killing tens of children and hung in the town center. But now, decades after his hanging, on moonless nights children have once again begun to disappear from their beds in the dead of night, with only a fresh muffin left in their place.
