A large fern-like plant that grows to well over 5 feet tall that fills the southern forests of Falyimoar. This plant is locally used as a fire starter and twine when dried. Recently local blacksmiths have begun to add large amount of this plant into their forge because it strengthens their steel and gives it a particular and vibrant blue hue that serves as a kind of watermark for their works.
Day 58
The capital city of The Kingdom of Galmoer. This city is heavily fortified and has a castle in its center that houses the royal family. The nobility of Galmoer are generally liked by their people, with many members regularly going out amongst the citizens to hear their concerns, and using their funds to rectify as many issues as they can. In recent years many of the towns and cities throughout Galmoer have been reporting an increase in attacks against settlements by terrorist groups, animals, and monsters. This has resulted in King Phillip of Galmoer devoting immense funds towards the defense and reinforcements of his territories. Despite this his military is constantly overwhelmed by the ever growing frequent attacks, which has pushed him to hiring mercenaries in mass, simply seeking anyone who is willing to fight to protect the land.
Day 59
An empire covering a large amount of territory in Falyimoar. The empire consists of The Kingdom of Galmoer, The Kingdom of Phantonis, and The Theocracy of Rachelis. The former Kingdom of Burgdalin grew into this empire under the control of King Chuck Delair Falymos, The Last King of Burgdalin. Over a span of his 60 year this king managed to unify several kingdoms under his banner, crumbling several governments in his conquest.
This grand unification brought about a widespread revolution in the arcane by bringing many mages from all across the land to Eagris, leading to a standardization of the arcane arts and an increased interest in its uses. As the populations of mages in Eagris grew Emperor Chuck saw the opportunity to cultivate a generation of mages who would be loyal to the empire and support its people and military, thus he created The Grand Institute for Mystical Arts, allowing any proficient in spellcasting to come and study the arcane arts, so long as they swore upon a blood pact that they would serve the empire, or forfeit all of their arcane power. (this is in essence a patron - warlock kind of pact).
