Hard cheeses are a particularly popular food amongst travelers because of its longevity and high calorie density, while softer cheeses are most popular in villages that farm cattle and amongst the aristocracy of large cities that can afford to have natural or magically created ice during the warmer months to keep it from spoiling.

Throughout Falyimoar many countries require spellcasters to have a license that certifies their permission to use magic within their borders. Most countries have a few laws banning the usage of certain magics such as those that are devastatingly powerful, or can be used for fraud, impersonation, or theft. In the empire of Burgdalin they have two different types of licenses, occupational and personal. Both come in the form of tiered licenses, starting at Novice(1) the tiers progress up to Archmage(9). -this denotes the highest level spell you are permitted to cast is-.

Small towns are often granted the ability to issue licenses to their inhabitants for the purposes of agriculture, husbandry, smithing, and other professions. They are not allowed issue licenses above adept(3), and any who have been issued a license as adept(3) must visit a city to have it verified by The Adventures Guild or the local city hall within 15 months of its issuing. -15 months with the Burgian Calendar equates to a year and a half-

Any person who is caught casting magic within Burgdalin without a license will be subject to investigation by The Grand Institute for Mystical Arts. If found guilty the accused will be be subject to various punishments depending upon the severity of their infringement. These punishments include but are not limited to lynching, execution, amputation of the hands or other appendages, removal of ones tongue or eyes, imprisonment, and mandatory enrollment to The Grand Institute for Mystical Arts or service in the Military.

In addition to the punishment the accused will be required to pay a fine. In order to receive a license you must either enroll in The Grand Institute for Mystical Arts, become the apprentice of spellcaster with at least license of at least mage(5), have it issued after an examination by The Adventures Guild or have it issued by your local town mayor for specific use cases. The licenses issued for students of The Grand Institute for Mystical Arts are the most highly respected, followed by those issued for apprentices and by a local governmental body, with the licenses issued by The Adventures Guild being the least respected by other spellcasters

A small town in central Galmoer south of Bunda. This town is home to a population of gnomes who make their livings trading craft goods with traders that are making their way to Bunda to offload their goods in the markets. The buildings of this town are not often very large due to being inhabited by gnomes, consequently travelers do not often stay in town for very long because of how cramped they find it. However because of their deforestation there is ample clear ground around the town to camp out in that even has burn pits and some wooden cabins available for rent.
