Following being cast into the Nine Hells as divine punishment, some souls manage to become Devils, while other become trapped as disembodied souls that will be consumed, be it by the Nine Hells itself or by its inhabitants. Devils, like Angels can rise from their damnation and change, should they become redeemed, except they can only rise to divinity if they perish on their home plane after being redeemed. In this case a mortal born soul will travel again through judgement once again, while a true Devil will travel through it for the first time, before finally arriving in the Upper Planes.

The multiverse; a system overlapping and intersecting planes of existence. Where did it come from? None know for certain but some purport that the worlds began with an infinitesimal spark of existence in an infinite nothingness that grew into the first god, who forged the realms using the flames from the spark. Some believe this spark is still burning, ever growing. Many scholars claim to have found traces of an ancient message being sent through every plane regularly. Where this message is coming from is a curiosity to all, because it appears to originate from inside every plane, and outside of them all at the same time. Those who have attempted to brave the journey to the origin of this signal have found themself unsuccessful so far. All who have gotten close to the origin of the message have found themselves faced with a imposing luminescent tower. This tower occasionally disappears when not being observed, returning with dust on it that doesn't resemble that of its own environment.

A strange disease that gradually transforms the afflicted's bones into solid gold. Despite this they do not often suffer adverse effects from this disease until a few years after the blight has begun to spread through their body. Gilded Blight is most common amongst wizards, particularly those that practice Necromancy. How this disease spreads is unknown, but legends of its origins tell of an ancient king named Sudim who was driven made with the desire for wealth, going so far as to prolong his life so he may keep hold of his treasure. Soon enough simply having his hoard was not enough. He sought to become one with his hoard; gathering his hoard together he fused it to his soul into it, enriching his former body with gilded bones, ordained with massive gemstones, while cursing any who sought to steal from his hoard, to one day become one with it.
