Nesmist is a covered almost entirely by ice, with vast warm oceans beneath, warmed by superheated vents of the planet core. This planet has a narrow ring around it that is mostly comprised of small asteroids and dust. The average temperature of the surface sits around -10 degrees while the liquid oceans beneath sit around 50 - 70 degrees in the upper layers and well over the boiling point of water near the subterranean vents. This planet is home to millions of species, including some aquatic humanoid races.

Originally intended to be a recovery potion this ended up being a magical potion that can change the physical sex of most animals. The transformation happens over several hours and is an excruciatingly painful process that redistributes your muscle, fat and bone structure to transform you body into one of the sex opposite to your current. In this process most physical wounds will be healed, scars will disappear as they are absorbed back into the body, however this process will not replace missing limbs, eyes, phalanges etc. The person who took the potion has some control over how their new body will turn out but they can only influence it and not control it's outcome completely.

This state is a member of the Burgian Empire and makes up the western reaches of The Howling Planes. Their population is mostly comprised of Humans, Half-Orcs and Tieflings. Tieflings make up a large portion of the non-religious management of this state, but are strictly banned from becoming clergy of any kind. The people of this region are known to be very welcoming to strangers, and you frequently hear people talking how they would like to visit this place, but you never seem to hear anyone ever talk about having been there. The healing powers of the clergy in the capital city of this country are said to be the best in the world, with the closest competition being in Eagris.
