The The Kingdom of Phantonis is a small country that is several hundred years old, being just a few hundred years older that The Kingdom of Burgdalin, that recently joined the Empire of Burgdalin. Phantonis is situated in the central-eastern region of Burgdalin and above The Kingdom of Galmoer which resides in the south-eastern region of Burgdalin. Their economy is based in agricultural trade with the Empire, contributing to well over half of their yearly GPD, with most of the remaining portion coming from traders traveling too and Devlutte.

Almost a century ago King Typhos of Phantonis besieged Mistletoe Valley under the claim that the elves had taken the far eastern reaches of Mistletoe Valley from The Kingdom of unjustly several hundred years ago. This siege lasted for a few years, destroying many elven villages in the process, coming to a halt after the elves beat back their attackers to the entrance of the pass and relinquished some territory outside of the valley in exchange for an armistice.

Schmebulock got drawn into the astral plane to be questioned about his involvement in the escape of the Gary while the rest of the party rushed after the trail of blood leading into the forest.

The rest if the party explored the fortress a little more, met a surgeon and researcher tiefling named Henry Phillip Phriends in an enchanted room hidden under a trapdoor and tricked him into believing they were new hires, found a frigid room full of hanging, skinned gutted and beheaded humanoids. A sewer system full of blood that links to the moat, a trail of bloody wolf-like footsteps leading out of the sewer system, up a ladder and out of the fortress into the woods, while crossing the draw bridge out the fortress the footsteps changed into human footsteps.

They then found a map of the compound that has a warning to beware of the flesh eating forest spirit and the crimson moon, letters with the royal sigil of King Phillip the 2nd of Galemoer stamped on them, and some gold in a magical safe Henry alerted the guards after finding the bodies of the guards that the party killed on their way in, now the party is rushing to get out of the fortress as the mist grows closer to the fortress and Henry is yelling to the other guards '7INTRUDERS! THE FIRE IS OUT! GET THE MEAT!'.
