This field just within the pass to Misteltal is the sight of the first major battle of The Splintering Schism. Filled with the frozen remains of both elves and humans this patch of land has been found filled with roses made of ice on the anniversary of the battle. These roses only seem to sprout from where the soldiers perished, with the roses melting away as the sun sets. As if the plants themselves remember the battle that took place here.

The clan of the sea elves. These elves live in the western reaches of Misteltal where the mountains part and open themselves to the ocean. Because of this clans long standing love for the seas they spend much of their lives in the water, living as one with the waves and befriending all manner of creatures that reside in its depths.

The clan of dark elves (Drow). These elves live in the northern reaches Misteltal where the forests fade into the high mountain peaks. These peoples live in the thick forests and the deep caverns of the Ever Cliffs. Spending there long lives deep in the caverns, many of these these elves have developed a sensitivity to sunlight, and often venture out only during the night, relying of magical lights to guide their way.
