A plague of Inkblight that swept across The Kingdom of Galmoer, nearly halving its population and even killing Queen Elise Delair Escara Enfer only a few weeks after she gave birth to the crown prince Prince Teaf Delair Phries Enfer and his younger twin Prince Phillip Delair Phries Enfer. This plague began to sweep across the land as the nights grew longer in late summer and did not subside until the beginning of the summer of 1303.
Those hit the hardest by this plague tended to be the elderly, soldiers, clergy, farmers, and craftsmen, which resulted in the nation losing a large portion of their skilled laborers, military and healers all in one go. In the reconstruction of The Kingdom of Galmoer they relied heavily upon the Empire for aid and became a major hub for The Adventure's Guild's which were essentially filled with traveling mercenaries, builders and handymen available for hire. During the reconstruction of the nation there were occasionally residual epidemics of Inkblight, but none worse than the plague which wiped out Freihao in 1320.
Day 245
Carnivorous type of sheep from the Magical Exclusion Zone which reproduce rarely and often stick with a single herd for their whole lives. Deesh typically kill and eat predators that go after the herd, and in times when predators are sparse they instead feed on the weak members of the flock and occasionally humans who get too close to the herds. Deesh can be quite beneficial to the safety of a herd, and equally detrimental to those hunting or farming them as Deesh will attack wool farmers, mistaking them for predators.
Day 246
