The Empire of Burgdalin conducts a census every year with the aid of the The Order of Rachelis to gather information on their its population. The official reason for these census' is to gather information to make the process of bettering the Empire easier and more efficient, but in reality that is not all it is used for. During the process of taking the census hundreds of followers of Rachelis spread out across the Empire and gather information about the people living in the land. This information includes, what occupation someone is in, how many kids they have, their sex, their race, how much money they keep on hand, how much of a food supply they have, any disabilities or illnesses they have and specifically if they are cursed.

On of the cleric's primary duties is to locate Lycanthropes and capture them so that they can be executed and disposed of. The clerics that conduct the census are each equipped with a device that can determine if someone has Lycanthropy. These yearly checks pushes those with Lycanthropy to hide from the census collectors, which often means living on the run, or fleeing the Empires borders to a more friendly country like Devlutte or the northern regions of the continent like Sadrust or the Magical Exclusion Zone.

A category of golem created for the purpose of agricultural use doing menial labor like pulling weeds, shooing pests, watering crops, plowing fields, and planting seeds. These golems are a product created and sold by The Artifaction Society directly. They come in many varieties for different purposes, some have many legs, arms and hands, while others may not have any at all. Most farms will have one or two golems if they can afford them, but many still use biological labor for the majority of tasks instead.

These golems often use the sun for their power generation, and as such fall dormant when the sun sets. More advanced golems can run without external energy for many years, but to make golems capable of such feats requires highly advanced technical abilities, which has consequently resulted in fewer of these more efficient golems being created and sold. Simply golems will follow simple commands and cannot speak. The more advanced the golem is the more complex commands and some are even capable of speech and intelligent thought.
