A group of magical craftsmen that collaborate and research the nature of magic, and its applications. This organization spans much of the Empire and its sworn states, though it's membership is located most heavily in the eastern regions of the Empire. Members of The Artifaction Society typically went to The Grand Institute for Mystical Arts before joining, but anyone with sufficient magical ability and the proper certification may join.
Burgdalin invests quite heavily into promising members of The Artifaction Society because of their invaluable skills which can massively strengthen their military might. Members of The Artifaction Society typically do not have to present their work to the organization, and are free to do their work for whoever they please, which has resulted in a great number of nobles employing members of The Artifaction Society to create magical armor, weapons and items for them such as potions or a stove that will light itself upon command.
Day 202
Sister to Celeste, Thamlin is the mother of Lunaris and the Dwarves. She has dominion over all land of the Material Plane, and is the creator of countless planets. Thamlin is just as devote to her followers as they are to her, often granting the faithful blessings and the ability to wield her power. To her first Dwarves she gifted the gifts of resilience, stoutness and extended life. Deep within the The Fractal Caverns there is an ancient temple devoted to her which is guarded by living stone guardian who have created a great barrier of crystals to protect the temple.
Day 203
A type of omnivorous creature that is found on the outskirts of the Magical Exclusion Zone that takes the form of a horned prey animal such as a deer, bison or moose. These beasts ancestors were that of the beast they appear to be, but after the creation of the Magical Exclusion Zone they began to change in response to the sudden change, and began to prey upon the members of their herd, rather than foliage. These beasts have sharp pointed front teeth and flat round molars in the rear. They typically will stick with the same herd for months, surviving on plants and building trust with the herd before they lure a member of the herd away to slaughter.
After they have killed a member of the herd they become more blood thirsty, and begin to kill members of the herd with a greater frequency. Despite originating in around the Magical Exclusion Zone these beasts have expanded deep into the central plains, and have become a common issue for farmers, as these formidable beasts break into farms to devour the livestock, and occasionally the farmers themselves. As such there are often requests for adventurers or the town guard to stake out a farm and slay the beasts. Rarely these beasts have been found to form into herds of their own, where every member is a Faudain, and will hunt in small packs.
